• All hormones are controlled by negative feedback.
• Adrenaline is produced in the Adrenal Glands.
• Adrenaline increases the heart rate and boosts delivery of oxygen and glucose to the body.
• Adrenaline is not controlled by negative feedback.
• The more oxygen and glucose sent to the muscles the more energy released via respiration.
• Insulin lowers blood glucose levels by converting glucose to glycogen to be stored in the liver and muscles.
• Glucagon increases blood glucose by transferring glycogen to glucose from the liver and muscles to be used in respiration.
• The Pancreas detects changes in blood glucose.
