    • A rational number is the one which can be represented in the form of P/Q where P and Q are integers and Q ≠ 0.
    • All rational numbers can be written as fractions but not all fractions are rational numbers.
    • There are two main types of rational numbers: integers and natural numbers.
    • A rational person is someone who is sensible and is able to make decisions based on intelligent thinking rather than on emotion.
    • A Rational Number can be made by dividing an integer by an integer. 
    • Distance to be run, time taken to run the distance, number of participants in a race, coming first or second or third, number of heart beats you take every minute etc., are all rational numbers.
    • The set of all rational numbers, also referred to as "the rationals"
    • As per the definition, rational numbers include all integers, fractions and repeating decimals.
