  • and release minerals

• no plants may grow for many reasons:

  • lack of nutrients
  • wrong ph of soil
• there can be forest loss because of:

  • local people deciding to farm cattle
  • companies start growing plants for biofuels
• the negative effects on biodiversity because of deforestation:

  • animals and birds migrate because there is less food
  • more habitats are destroyed
