Youth Opposition

• Opposition grew from young Germans after policies were enacted forcing the young into pro-Nazi youths organisations.

  The Edelweiss Pirates and the Swing Youth were two anti-Nazi youth groups.
• REMEMBER: Nazi youth

  groups were compulsory.

  Although groups such as the

  Edelweiss Pirates and the Swing

  Youth didn’t generally engage

  in political activities, they were

  still breaking the law.
