• Definition 2 problem: Same as 1, however it does acknowledge the different aspects of globalisation which can be more accurate
• Definition 3 problem: relates to one specific aspect of globalisation which underpins many of the other features of globalisation, increasing interconnectivity
• There has been a growing interest in globalisation because of the rapid advances in technology, which have meant the rate of globalisation has accelerated rapidly
