  • Circulatory system
    Heart- pumps blood to all parts of the body.
    Blood vessels- tubes enable blood to be transported to all parts of the body.
    Blood- transport oxygen,digested food and water to all parts of the body.
    -transports carbon dioxide and other waste materials away from the different parts of the body for removal.
  • Circulatory system (3 types of circulation)
    1. Pulmonary circulation: Movement of the blood from the lungs and back to the heart
    2. Coronary circulation: movement of the blood through the tissues of the heart.
    3. Systematic circulation: movement of blood from the heart to the rest of the body excluding the lungs.

    CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
    • Also known as the CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM.
    • It is the life support structure that nourishes your cells.
    • It functions with other body systems to deliver different materials in the body.
