  • victim proneness - people become victims due to their own characteristics
  • victims can be a part of the process that leads to crime occuring, without victims lots of crime wouldnt happen

  • victims play a role in crime because punishment often depends on whether the victims treat it as criminal and whether they report it

  • how victims may contribute to the crime itself
