Use a signal generator attached to the dipper of a ripple tank to create waves of a set frequency
Use a lamp to see the wave crests on a screen below a tank
The distance between each shadow line is equal to one wavelength
Measure atleast 10 wavelengths then find a mean wavelength
Calculate the speed of the waves
