  • Hearing Sound
    • Sound waves that reach your ear drum can cause it to vibrate
    • These vibrations are passed onto tiny bones in your ear
    • The cochlea turn these vibrations into electrical signals which get sent to your brain and allow you to sense sound
    • Hearing is limited by the size and shape of the our ear drum, as well as the structure of all the parts within the ear that vibrate

    • Can be reflected by hard flat surfaces
    • Sound waves will be refracted as they enter different materials
