  • Schizont with merozoite arranged around a central pigment (Fruit pie)
• Plasmodium malariae

  • Trophozoite: Band

  • Merozoite: Rosette/ Fruit pie/ Daisy head

  • Stages seen in peripheral blood smear: rings, trophozoite, schizonts
