Waves

• Put about 5mm depth of water in the ripple tank (1)
• Measure and record depth of water with a metre ruler (2)
• Turn on the motor (3)
• Measure time for ten waves to pass (4)
• Divide time by 10 to get wave period (5)
• Measure length of 6 to 8 waves and divide for wavelength (7)
