Food tests

• Reducing sugar test:


  Heat in benedict solution

  Red/Green/orange colour (shows maltose/reducing sugars)
• Non-reducing sugar test:


  Heat with acid and neutralise,

  Heat with benedict solution,

  Red precipitate colour
