    Lobbyists are people that try to persuade individual MPs to supporttheir cause.

    Professional lobbyists can use methods that mean they are abusingtheir position. For example in recent years there have been manyscandals with lobbyists paying MPs to ask questions.
    This means those that are in a strong financial position have moreaccess than an ordinary person
