  • Learning occurs in three stages -
    1. What can i do alone
    2. What can i do with help
    3. What can I not yet do
    learning occurs in stage two this is known as our zone of proximal development ,here with scaffolded support from a more knowledgeable other we would eventually be able to do tasks on our own
  • implications -
    • the tasks should be set within the learners zone of proximal development this is because tasks that are to easy will lead to Borden and tasks that a to difficult lead to frustration
