The art process consists of the five stages used when artists create artworks: explore, develop, refine, resolve, and present. The art process is documented in a visual diary.
The explore stage consists of proposing new works, mind mapping, considering possibilities and research.
The develop stage involves trialing different approaches, experimenting with materials and discovering new methods of production.
The refine stage includes reflecting on your original ideas, examining your process and achievements, and annotating your process.
The resolve stage involves planning for, proposing and creating your final work.
The present stage consists of considering your work, reflecting on your proposal, developingmethods to present your work and evaluating the finished creation.
