  • all common sodium, potassium and ammonium salts are soluble
  • all nitrates are soluble
  • most common chlorides are soluble except silver and lead chloride
  • most sulphates are soluble except lead ,barium and calcium
  • most common carbonates are insoluble except sodium, potassium and ammonium
  • most common hydroxides are insoluble except sodium, potassium and ammonium
  • half equation for oxygen : 2O2- ----> O2 + 4E-
  • making copper sulfate crystals : place sulfuric acid in a conical flask and warm it up in a water bath, add a spatula of copper oxide to the acid and stir it with a glass rod, continue to add copper oxide powder until its in excess, filter the mixture to remove the excess and pour the filtrate into an evaporating basin. then heat the filtrate to evaporate and leave to allow to form crystals.
