  • Have only one sexual partner or do not have sexual intercourse.

  • Use a condom.

  • Do not share personal care items.

  • Use new or sterile needles.
• Signs and Symptoms of AIDS

  • Pneumonia
  • Brain infection
  • Chronic or persistant fever
  • widespread tuberculosis affecting many organs at the same time
  • severe diarrhoea lasting several months
  • Kaposi's sarcoma (cancer of the blood vessels)
