• Certain flammable metallic substances such as Na and K. This is difficult to control and requires properly trained fire-fighting personnel. Use special dry chemical extinguishers for this class of fire.

• occur with the high temperature cooking oils, grease, or fats. Require agents to prevent splashing and cool the fire as well as smother it
