      • Deterministic, not all families will destroy creativity
    • Family is apart of the superstructure that passes on capitalistic ideologies and allows the bourgeoisie to keep control.
    • Macro approach: looks at a large scale of social processes such as social stability and change.
    • Conflict view: See society as two groups who want different things.
    • Capitalism: An economic system in which private individuals own goods.
    • Exploitation: A dominant group within society manipulate another weaker group.
    • Alienation: Humans feels disconnected from other parts of society.
    • Dominance: Controlling, powerful position in society.
    • Revolution: A fundamental change in society.
    • Ideology: A set of beliefs treated as distinctive to a particular group.
    • Social change: Alteration of social order.
