Wales Has No Voice

Cards (3)

  • Firstly, it can't be denied that Welsh Labour has done nothing for the country but spark controversy and divide in recent years. This has caused some Welsh people to naively call for the Senedd to be abolished.
  • The focal point of this claim comes from a lack of Welsh voice in Parliament, that which has recently become even smaller. Before, of the 650 seats in the House of Commons, 40 were held by Welsh MPs. This number was cut down to 32 after the latest General Election, less than half that of London's.
  • An independent Wales would grant the power to prioritise the people of Wales so that tragedies like Tryweryn never happen again.
