    • COMBINED TRY AND MITER SQUARE - combination of 45 and 90 degrees in one set.

    SQUARE is called a "Trying Square". Square is a right angle standard at 90 degrees used in marking or testing work. The different types of square are:
    • COMBINATION SQUARE - similar to a try square only that the head can be made to slide and clamp at any desired place of the blade and is also provided with a miter and a level guide.
    • FRAMING OR STEEL SQUARE - used effectively on framing work.

    • POINTING TROWEL – a trowel used in pointing or removing and laying mortar in masonry joints.
