what are dendrites ? 
at one end of the neuron and recieve signals from other neurons or sensory receptors
what is the axon?
the long part of the neurone, the impulse is carried down it until it terminates at the axon terminal
what is myelin sheath?
an insulating layer around the axon, allows the nerve impulses to transmit faster
what are sensory neurons?
neurons that carry impulses from receptors to relay neurones in the spine or brain
