  • Home keys
    The F and J keys on the keyboard, which have bumps to help typists locate them without looking
  • Familiarizing the home rows
    1. Feel the bumps on the F and J keys with your index fingers
    2. Rest your other fingers on the home row keys
    3. Press the F and J keys continuously
    4. Move your index fingers from F to G and J to H
    5. Type F G J H with a space in between, using your thumb for the space bar

    2. Move left index finger from F to G and right index finger from J to H
