    • Usually made of metal, support intravenous infusion containers while fluid is being administered to a client

    1. Cradle placed on bed under the top sheet
    2. Prevents top sheets from touching parts of the patients body
    3. Used for burns, skin ulcers, lesions, blood clots, fracture or surgery
    4. Some cradles have light bulbs to provide heat for special treatment
