Technical Support Staff - monitors and maintains the computer systems and network within an organization in a technical support role. If there are any issues or changes required, such as forgotten passwords, viruses or email issues, the technical support staff is the first-person employees will go to. Task can include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems, either over the phone or face to face. Also know as help desk operator, technician or maintenance engineer.
