• Polygon - is a closed plane figure with three of more sides and the sides intersect only at their endpoints.
• All polygons with four or more sides whether convex or concave have diagonals
• Polygon is a closed-plane figure bounded by line segments that meet only at their endpoints.
• Equilateral polygon - is a polygon whose sides are all congruent.
• Equiangular polygon - is a polygon whose all angles are congruent.
• Two types of polygon: Regular & Irregular polygon
• Regular polygon - a polygon that is both equilateral and equiangular.
• Irregular polygon - a polygon whose sides and angles are not equal.
• A square has 4 sides.
• A square have 4 equal sides
• All interior angles if a square are equal to 90 degrees.
• Convex polygon - is a polygon that has all interior angles that measure less that 180 degrees.
• Convex polygon - will also have all diagonal connecting lines be contained within the shape and have no vertices that point inward.
• Concave polygon - is defined as a polygon in which one or more interior angles are more than 180 degrees.
• Concave polygon -if any of the diagonals of a polygon are formed partly or fully outside the polygon.
