Interviews can give insider and first-hand information. They can also be structured or informal. However they can be biased by leading questions and how honest the interviewee is.
Photographs can show first-hand what a place is like. However, they can be photoshopped, selective in what's shown or taken at unrealistic angles/times
Textual sources can make a reader feel like they know what it is like to be in that place. Although, an author can positively represent a place or encourage place-prejudice
Poetry/songs can give an insiders view, but these can be biased in favouring or insulting a place
TV shows and films can portray a place in a different light (e.g. London in Eastenders and The Apprentice)
Art can be inaccurate, disproportional or abstract, such as the paintings in Saltaire by David Hockney
