Policy

• A policy is a government action (plan) that is aimed at addressing (improving) society and its needs.
• What will most policies set out to do?

  • Achievement - they want to have a higher achievement, which is higher grades, because this makes better citizens which boosts the economy. 
  • Standards - having higher standards in education so that it will improve the achievement of students. 
  • Equality - everyone regardless of religion, gender etc should have equal access to education and the education system.
