  inability to regulate blood glucose levels
• Type 1 Diabetes:

  • Lifelong Condition
  • Pancreas no longer produces insulin
  • Treatment - Inject Insulin
• Type 2 Diabetes:

  • Older people due to unhealthy diet
  • Resistant to insulin, body doesn’t respond to it anymore
  • Cells don’t take in glucose from bloodstream
  • Main treatment is to eat a healthy low sugar diet and do regular exercise
