The sanctity of life is the Christian key moral principle that life is sacred. It was created by God for a religious purpose. There are two types, strong and weak.
Conservative/strong sanctity of life principle
As God created human life, only he has the right to end it. Humans were created in God's image.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” – Jeremiah 1:5.
“Your body is a temple of the holy spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God. You do not belong to yourself” (1 Corinthians 6:19).
“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.” Genesis 9:6
