    • Law made by some person or other body than parliament, but with the authority of parliament.
    • Parliaments authority to make delegated legislation is usually laid down in a 'parent' act/enabling act.

      Parliament makes sure it's worded correctly and specifically who the law making power is delegated to and the procedure they must follow.
