• Autosomal linkage:

  • Autonome are non-sex chromosomes
  • Genes on the same autonome are linked
  • They will stay together during independent assortment
  • They will be inherited together
  • Unless the alleles are separated during crossing over
• Autosomal linkage means:

  • More offspring will have the same genotype + phenotype as their parents
