    • a limitation was that Wundt recognised mental processes were difficult to study using his procedures
    • His methods were not always considered to be scientific as they were subjective (relied on trusting people’s account) & his results weren’t easy to replicate
    • Any behaviour outside of conscious awareness could not be tested and other approaches made great contributions to psychology becoming a science. E.g. Bandura/Skinner
    • The use of introspection meant that the data collected by Wundt was often anecdotal rather than empirical, making it less reliable.
