  After the semen has been ejaculated into the woman's vagina , it goes through the cervix.

  After the semen has been ejaculated into the woman's vagina and through the cervix it enters the uterus and reaches the ovaries.
• If a sperm manages to reach the egg in the fallopian tube then fertilisation will occur.
