  • At night, resistance of an LDR increases which makes all the electricity flow through the street light only, making it light up
  • In hot conditions, thermistors have less resistance to not make all the electricity flow in one area, preventing overload
  • When the resistance of a component increases, it takes more potential difference. As the temperature increases, the resistance of the thermistor decreases, so the potential difference is more spread out
