    behaviour that occurs rarely within the general population/ if someone scored low on an IQ test may be diagnosed with interlectual disability disorders/ this can also be critiszed in terms of cultural relativity/ depression is much more common in western countries than in asian cultures which means it won't be abnormal in western but it will be in asain

    strength- protection of society, soceity can intervene and go to correctt measures such as putting them into mental institutions weakness- cultural relativity
