    • The Garden of Eden is made by God and is perfect.
    • Adam is created and is given dominion - "rule over".
    • Eve is made from one of his ribs to accompany him.
    • Eve is tempted by the devil to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
    • Eve eats the fruit and gives some to Adam
    • Adam and Eve have fallen from grace with God and are disgraced by going against his rules. They are exiled from the garden.
    • Their disobedience brought original sin into the world. Most Christians believe that we are descendants of Adam and Eve so everyone has original sin.
    • Christians believe that original sin is the reason for humanity's sin. Original sin is believed to be washed away through baptism which is why most Catholics baptise their babies.
