  • goal 1 = eradicate extreme hunger and poverty - has decreased but not fully gone yet
  • goal 2 = achieve universal primary education - number of children attending primary school has increased so is nearly achieved
  • goal 3 = promote gender equality - primary students are becoming more equal but women are still doing traditional roles
  • goal 4 = reduce child mortality - mortality rate has halved and children have started to become vaccinated and protected from deadly illnesses
  • goal 5 = maternal health - less accidental pregnancies and more contraception - has been achieved
  • goal 6 = combating diseases (HIV/AIDS) - half way - good protection but is still vulnerable to diseases being spread
  • goal 7 = ensure environmental sustainability - not achieved but has increased a lot, clean drinking water has increased but not complete
  • goal 8 = develop a global partnership - not achieved because there is a large reliance on aid and in debt (owe lots of money)
  • goal 1 - poverty living has dropped from 49% to 29%, 40% of children are malnourished
  • goal 2 - 96% of children are now in primary school, literacy rate is low at 36%
  • goal 3 - 93% of girls are at primary school
  • goal 4 - 65% of children now receive vaccines
  • goal 5 - 55% of women can access contraception, maternal mortality has dropped to 23% because of better care after
  • goal 6 - 1.1 million adults still live with HIV but numbers of new cases has declined
  • goal 7 - hydroelectric power has increased to 41% of all energy
  • goal 8 - national debt is 21% of the total GDP, 50% of aid received is food
