  • Adolf Hitler was born in Austria in 1889. He moved to Munich in 1913 and became all things German
  • The 25 point programme was written by Hitler and Drexler in 1920
  • Policies of 25 point programme:
    • Increased pensions for elderly
    • Get rid of the treaty of Versailles
    • Everyone must have a job
    • Build up Germany‘s army
    • Only German races can be a member of the nation, no Jews
  • More of the 25 point programme:
    • Expand Germany territory to feed people
    • All citizens have equal rights and duties
    • Hard working Germans given chance of higher education
    • Children must stop working and do sports
  • The SA were a paramilitary force made up of ex soldiers. They were formed in August 1921 by Hitler
  • The SA was put under the command of Ernst Rohm. they wore brown uniforms and were nicknamed ‘brownshirts .
  • The SA were used to violently disrupt meetings of opposing parties
  • The SA were also used to control opposing crowds
