• Stored animal manure also generates CH4
• Since people keep these animals primarily for food, these CH4 emissions are considered human related
• Rice plantations, where rice grows in flooded fields, also release CH4 into the atmosphere
• Globally, the agricultural sectors are the primary source of CH4 emissions
