There are 4 structures found in all cells: cytoplasm, a controlcenter, ribosomes, and a cellmembrane.
Organelles are specialized structures found within a cell, they all have a specific job/function.
The cell membrane is also known as the plasmamembrane. It separates the inside of the cell from the outside and it regulates what comes inside and outside of the cell. It’s mostly made of proteins and lipids. The cell membrane is found in allcells.
Cytoplasm is an interior, semifluidsubstance that contains alltheorganellesexceptforthenucleus. It’s found in allcells.
All cells have a control center. This contains the codedinformation in the form of DNA.DNAstores the instructions for regulatingcellfunctions and for the reproduction of the cell.
Ribosomes produce proteins, they technically aren’torganelles as they aren’tmembranebound, and they cometogether during proteinsynthesis. They are found in allcells.
The cell wall is an inflexiblebarrier only found in prokaryoticcells and plantcells. It provides support, protects, and keepstheinsideseparatefromtheoutside.
The nucleus is the controlcenter of the cell and contains codeddirections for protection of proteins and celldivision. It also holds DNA. The nucleus is found in bothplantandanimalcells (only eukaryotic cells).
Rough ER (EndoplasmicReticulum) transportsproteins. (like a highway). This is present in both plant and animalcells (onlyeukaryoticcells).
The Golgi apparatus modifies and packagesproteins for transportation. It looks like a flattenedstack of tubularmembranes (Like the UPSfactory). This is found in plant and animalcells (only eukaryotic).
Vesicles are found in bothplantandanimalscells (only eukaryotic) and are used for transportation. They are like the UPStruck. The vesicles budoff of the Golgi and can movearound.
The vacuole is in both plantandanimalcells for storage of materials.
The mitochondria is the powerhouseofthecell. It generatesATP (energy). It is a membraneboundorganelles found in Eukaryotes (plantandanimalcells).
Chloroplasts are found in someprokaryotesandallplantcells. They are usually green with a yellowmembrane and they capturelightenergy and convert it into chemicalenergy through photosynthesis.
