  • In January 1920, de AP set up a permanent office. Hitler chose Rudolph, a friend from the army, as the parties first full-time administer. The parties meetings were now more organised and better advertised. Party membership and funds began to increase.
  • Hitler suggested a name for the party. The two main pillars of the 25 points were nationalism and socialism. Hitler suggested that the National Socialist German workers party (NSDAP) Nazis for short. Hitler name the party so appeal to many different people
  • The NSDAP then adopted its logo, the swastika, and its street and party salute. The party was not easy to distinguish from all the other small nationalist parties in German policies
  • The bigger membership and better organisation of the party brought in enough funds for the NSDAP to buy a newspaper
  • Rudolf Hess was a wealthy academic, who became Hitler’s deputy. The fact that he is wealthy and smart makes him put a good light on the Nazis because it makes them look like they’re being leader by intelligent people who know what they’re doing and are wealthy so can fund the party
  • Hermann Göring was a young, dashing and wealthy world war fighter pilot. Him being young makes the party more diverse in the matter views from all different ages I think Hitler chose him also because of his world war experience as it’s evident that the time Hitler was upset by the loss of the world war and believe Germany should have won. Surrounding himself by strong soldiers from the war could be a good idea as most likely to be open to the idea of World War II and even support it and help him start it
