The Lungs

• The lungs are located in the thorax
• The thorax is the top half of your body
• Air that you breathe in goes through the trachea
• The trachea splits into two tubes called the bronchi
• The bronchi then splits into smaller tubes called the bronchioles
• The bronchioles connect to the alveoli where gas exchange take place
