Why did Germany loose WW1?

  • Germany was fighting enemies on two fronts after their plan to defeat France quickly failed. (Russia and France on either side)
  • The British navy blockaded German ports so no supplies could be brough into the country. People began to protest against the Kaiser.
  • In 1917 America joined the war and brought fresh troops and weapons to fight against Germany.
  • German sailors refused to obey orders to carry out a final assult in 1918 and this mutiny was beginning to spread.
