Passports Movement Analysis
Dancers sit cross-legged, side by side, centre stage. Their hands are splayed in front of their chest as they make a sweeping downward gesture. This action enhances the narrative of explaining what the guards were wearing.
Passports Movement RADS
The two dancers satcross-legged side by side and in unison, place their index fingers and thumbs into a diamond position whilst saying "it's amazing how much power a passport holds". They then thrust this gesture forward. That diamond represents a passport.
Shadows and Sufis
The two dancers stand equidistant downstage centre as their shadows overlap on the upstage gauze. Then gestures are overlayed onto the shadows. Labi turns.
Themes: Identity and Boreders.
Dummy Duality-
Sidi reaches to the audience because he wants to be where they are and then aggressively stamps on Khan's dummy and Khan mirrors the dummy's action. Larbi and Marka are centre stage and Akram is centre stage left.
