• decisive - coming up with solutions to deal with issues effectively
• Initiative - ability to do work independently and see for themselves what areas of the business needs to be adressed
• good with people - effective management of people is one of the most important aspects of management
• hard worker - not only is this important to get their relevant tasks done but it is also essential to get employees to work harder - problems are dealt with regardless of time of the day or week (first in, last out of office)
• flexible - must be able to adapt to certain circumstances as they arise - some circumstances require different approaches by managers so they must be able to hcange and be flexible to meet the businesses demand
• charismatic - when dealing with other stakeholders in the business, personality is important - workers will remain motivated and loyal to charismatic leaders - also helps in getting jobs done in an effective manner
