  • Secondary data is non-volatile, the data is stored permanently at higher capacites than primary.
  • Secondary Storage has higher capacity than primary storage but is much slower.
  • Solid State Drives have no moving parts and are silent and portable.
  • Hard Disk Drives store data magnetically and are cheaper with higher capacity.
  • Optical Discs are cheap and portable; but they easily scratched and declining due to online streaming and not all devices have optical drives.
