Density of Materials

Cards (4)

  • Density = Mass/volume
  • Solids - A fixed, regular structure with strong forces of attraction. They only vibrate. Highest Density.
  • Liquids - Have weaker forces of attraction. They are close and move past each other. They have more energy and move in random directions.
  • Gases - Have no forces of attraction. Highest amount of energy. Very spaced out and particles are free to move. Random directions. Have low density.
