  1. Use tweezers Place cell on slide
  2. Stain with Iodine and cover with coverslip
  3. Place slide on stage; secure with clips
  4. Select 4x on Objective lens.
  5. Turn coarse focus to move stage- look from side, so slide dont hit lens.
  6. Adjust fine focus to see clearly.
  7. Look through Objective Lens.
  8. Draw Observations with pencil.

  
• To convert mm to μm, multiply the number by 1000. 
• To convert nm to μm, divide the number by 1000.
• To convert cm to μm, multiply the number by 10 to convert to mm, then by 1000 to convert to μm.
