    The divide of accessing information between different countries and different types of information across the world.

    Developed countries will have a developed industry and technology base with more information accessed and more technological infrastructures.
  • Explain developing countries referring to accessibility of information?
    Developing countries such as Africa have less technological infrastructures than developed countries which will lead to unstable governments and less access to education and technology.
  • Explain how business are holders of information?
    It holds the information on all of its employees such as birth and financial information so they get paid each month. Also holds info such as profits and historical data.
  • Explain why are governments are holders of information?
    Holds a huge amount of information based on individuals in the country such as date of birth. The government stores information about other countries.
  • Explain urban locations in terms of internet access?
    Urban areas such as cities or towns have a higher population density. Since there are so many people, IT companies and councils will spend a lot of money on internet infrastructures such as cabling.
  • Explain rural areas in terms of internet access?
    Rural areas such as countryside, population is lower than urban areas. This means that settlements may be far apart so internet access is poorer and broadband speeds are slower.
